Our village has local farming and plantation projects to enhance the welfare and wellbeing of our people. We grow and harvest locally produced taro, bananas, yams, breadfruit, cucumbers, pumpkins to name a few. In addition the tropical fruits such as mangoes, pawpaws, watermelons, and coconuts therefore our village people are experienced labourers. Other responsibilities including the selling of the local produce at the market in the town area, hotels, supermarkets, and roadside stalls. In the last five years, we export frozen products to New Zealand and Australia such as taro, yams, breadfruits, cocoa, and others.
