Who we are?
Talofa Employment Agency (TEA) is a newly established organisation based in a Samoan village context in Samoa. TEA is an outcome of the Council of Chiefs' strategic approach to prepare and provide labourers for RSE in New Zealand and Australia. It is an opportunity to sustain village peoples’ financial status.

What we do?
TEA has trained and prepared our village people for overseas employment opportunities focusing on RSE work.
- We supply labourers for RSE work including hospitality to New Zealand and Australia
- We invite Immigration specialists to provide information for the host countries to ensure our labour force is well prepared while engaged with employment overseas.
- We have a thorough process to select the labourers whom we believe are ready to take overseas employment.
- We register those who are interested in RSE work and train them accordingly.

Our Protocols
TEA is aware of many challenges encountered by RSE employers and employees in the past due to the lack of knowledge and prior labour force training. Given that TEA is governed by the village protocols, all registered RSE workers must adhere to these protocols.

Regional Seasonal Employment (RSE)
TEA has already sent groups of labourers to Australia. We have also appointed our Agent in New Zealand to extend our work and build relationships with RSE employers from New Zealand. We have a database of all registered RSE workers to cater to the high demand from New Zealand and Australia.

Our Domestic Work
Our village has local farming and plantation projects to enhance the welfare and wellbeing of our people. We grow and harvest locally produced taro, bananas, yams, breadfruit, cucumbers, pumpkins to name a few. In addition the tropical fruits such as mangoes, pawpaws, watermelons, and coconuts therefore our village people are experienced labourers.
